The Greatest Commandments

...Love God

The Most Important One.  "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'

...Love Your Neighbor

The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'

There is no commandment greater than these.

These two commandments are very difficult to grasp regarding the magnitude on your life.

When was the last time that God was the only thing on your mind? Too many times in a given day we get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life. We caught up in needing a bigger house and a better car and more clothes and paying bills andgoing on a vacation that God gets pushed to the back parts of our minds.

So what can we do to love him with ALL of our minds? Let alone ALL of our hearts, souls and strength.

If you have suggestions, please post them at the Live Man Walking Blog.

I also encourage you to pass this page on to your friends and to read Live Man Walking by H.C. DeBoard III

Ask yourself "who are my neighbors" in the categories above. Then make a plan to show your love to them by helping them in some way.
